Mr. Charles William Farris, age 85, of the Alberton Community passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026 in the Opp Health & Rehab.

Mr. Farris is survived by his daughters, Leigh Ann Davis & husband, Bobby, Kim Wilkerson & husband, Darryl, and Donna Hawthorne; brothers, Howard Farris & Jolinda, Hoyt Farris & Louise, and Tony Farris; sisters-in-law, Jean Wilson and Perlene Farris; grandchildren, Matthew Wilkerson & Cassandra, Whitney Jackson & Dustin, Maeghann LaGraff & Jeremy, Bethany Kilcrease & Clint and Taylor Wilkerson; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn Rogers, Cason Moore, Riley LaGraff, Dax Kilcrease, Reagen LaGraff, Kyler Wilkerson, Tripp Kilcrease, Wells Harper Kilcrease and Brant Kilcrease; and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wilson Farris; parents, Willie Maude (Crabtree) and James Marion Farris; son-in-law, Todd Hawthorne; brother, James E. Farris; brother-in-law, Joe Wilson; sister-in-law, Sherrie Farris; and great-nephew, Brandon Veasey.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 22, 2026 from Ino Baptist Church with burial following in Alberton Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Bro. Garry Winstead and Bro. Danny Branch will be officiating with Donald Farris, Stacy Farris, Shane Farris, Jason Farris, Ayden Wallace and Glenn Childers serving as pallbearers.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Ino Baptist Church.
