Mr. Charles Lamar Day, age 93, of Opp, Alabama passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Day is survived by his wife, Jeanette Reeves Day; sons & daughters-in-law, Eddie Day & Danita, and Ronnie Day & Lynda; sister, Jean Alice Weeks & husband, Clovis; and four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Day; and parents, Mattie Maude Byrd Day and William Bryant Day.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Lamar Day will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 28, 2021 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with military graveside honors following in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Larry Wise will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Tim Leath, Ty Leath and Judson Day along with great-grandsons, Jackson Leath, Christopher Leath, Burke Day and Webb Day.
