Mr. Anthony Chad Short, age 51, of the Babbie Community passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at his home.

Chad is survived by his wife, Shannon Grace Short; daughter, Macie Short Jones & husband, Joseph; son, Tucker Short; grandson, Ramer Jones; brothers, Ricky Smith & wife, Denese, and Lee Short; mother & father-in-law, Judy & Max Grace; and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Lee Short and Hinton Wade "Shorty" Short.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Denese & Ricky Smith.
