Mrs. Carolyn Newby McCurley, age 76, of Opp, Alabama passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 in a Montgomery hospital.

Mrs. McCurley is survived by her husband, Robert McCurley; daughter, Carla McCurley Ballard & husband, Brock; brother, Donald Newby & wife, Margaret; sister, Mary Ann Odom; grandchildren, Lane Ballard and Colby Ballard; and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bertie Odom Newby and John Frank Newby; and siblings, Roy Newby and Essie B. Newby.

Graveside services for Mrs. Carolyn Newby McCurley will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, October 22, 2023 in Blue Springs Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Elmore will be officiating.
