Mrs. Byrdell Driggers Kersey, age 90, of Opp, Alabama passed away Friday, May 24, 2024 at her home.

Mrs. Kersey is survived by her sons, Wayne Kersey & wife, Nancy and Darren Kersey & wife, Diann; daughter, Rena Kersey Powell & husband, Norman; brother, Paul Driggers & wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Andrew Kersey (Sarah), Katie Stinson (D.J.), Amber Todd (Justin) and Tom Kersey; great-grandchildren, Jonah Todd, Kersey Mae Stinson, Emma Todd and Mary Claire Stinson due to arrive in November. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Kersey; son, David Kersey; and parents, Bartow Massey Driggers and Essie Charlene Turner Driggers.

Funeral services for Mrs. Byrdell Driggers Kersey will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with graveside services following in Peaceful Acres Memorial Garden. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until service time. Bros. Walter Brewer and Jeff Stovall will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Driggers, Andrew Kersey, Tom Kersey, D.J. Stinson, Justin Todd and Courtney Etheridge.

The family will be receiving friends at her residence: 603 E. Ida Avenue, Opp, AL  36467.
