Mrs. Brenda Sue Herrell, age 67, of Samson, Alabama passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama.

Mrs. Herrell is survived by her husband, Jeff Herrell; sons, Patrick Maddox & wife, Carey, Nathaniel Maddox & wife, Carla, and Cody Maddox & wife, Sara; brother, Wilmer Nation & wife, Susie; and sisters, Ellen Webster & husband, Terrell, Charlotte Dial & husband, Alford, Edna Shannon & husband, John, Glenna Kinder & husband, Kenneth, Sheila Sidebottom & husband, Rodney, and Tammy Davis & husband, Gerald; numerous grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Norton Nation and William Thomas Nation.

A time of visitation for Mrs. Brenda Sue Herrell will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 5 until 7 pm. There will also be a visitation held from 1 until 2 pm (EST) on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville, Kentucky with graveside services immediately following at 2 pm (EST) in Valley Cemetery. Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home will be in charge of those arrangements.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
