Mrs. Bobbie Lucas McBride, age 60, of Elba passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026 in Flowers Hospital.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, David M. McBride; daughter, Laken McBride Whigham & husband, Peyton; son, Caleb McBride & fiancé, Olivia; grandchildren, Peyleigh Grace and Lucas Whigham; sisters, Linda Lucas, Brenda Moore & husband, Dennis, and Gail Evelyn; sister-in-law, Faye Manning; nieces & nephews, Garrett Moore & wife, Magen along with their daughter, Bristol, Johnny Manning, Dennis Manning & wife, Catina, Michael Manning & wife, Evelyn, and Wendy Manning Wood; special friends, Chris Basham and Scotty & Leigh Farmer; and many other family members and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys Cleone Jackson & Doyle Even Lucas; brother, Ed Manning; and special family friend, Jaken Farmer.

A memorial service for Mrs. Bobbie Lucas McBride will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 24, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Bro. Derwood Cleland and Bro. Allen Joyner will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, it is the family’s request that memorials be made to a local animal shelter, ASPCA www.aspca.org, or St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org.

The family will be receiving friends at the McBride home, 1510 Sequoia Dr., Elba, AL 36323.
