Mr. Billy Scofield, age 84, of Opp, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 in Mizell Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Scofield is survived by his wife, Betty Holloway Scofield; daughters & sons-in-law, Jan Scofield Breedlove & Robert, Vickie Scofield Sumblin & Rocky and Lisa Scofield Kyser & Mike; sisters, Christine Prescott, Betty Strickland and Sylvia Rasey; brothers, Donnie Scofield & wife, Charlene, and Tom Scofield & wife, Elaine; grandchildren, Josh Young & wife, Kerri, Cari Morgan Parker & husband, Wade, Marc Breedlove, Amy Breedlove Nobles & husband, Ben, Ben Young and Sara Morgan Jones & husband, Levi; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Alto Scofield; grandson, Johnathan Scofield Young; and siblings, Wayne Scofield, Sue Williams and Eloise Henderson.

A private funeral service will be held at Wyatt Funeral Home for immediate family only with private interment following in Beulah Cemetery. Ben Nobles & Brian Smith will be officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Young, Ben Young, Marc Breedlove, Levi Jones, Wade Parker and Matt Holloway.

Those in attendance are asked to wear a mask and practice the social distance guidelines set forth by Governor Kay Ivey and Alabama Public Health.
