Billy Gene
Carnley
August 28, 1944 – May 4, 2020
Mr. Billy Gene Carnley, age 75, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 at Baptist South in Montgomery, Alabama. Mr. Carnley was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son and brother. He was and will always be a hero to his children. He taught us to believe in ourselves and that our good name was the only thing we could take with us….so we should always take care of it. He loved life and he was the biggest dreamer we have ever known. He smiled and he laughed out loud like no one ever….no matter his circumstances or pain. We will miss this man who loved spending time talking with his family and friends, loved eating good food and always loved a good day of riding his motorcycle. We celebrate your life and look forward to the day we will be with you again.
Mr. Carnley is survived by his daughters & sons-in-law, Gail C. Hayes & Harrison, Melissa C. Pierce & Terry and Samantha C. Russell & Wayne; step-daughter, Chandra Anderson (Rusty); step-son, Rusty Adams (Wendy); brother & sister-in-law, Larry Carnley & Ruth Ann; step-father, Winford Owens; grandchildren, Trevor Hayes, Kayla Tisdale & husband, Tad; Eli Russell & wife, Jessie, Max Russell, Oki Grace Russell, Tucker Holet, J.C.
