Mrs. Betty Jean Alfrey Heath, age 89, of Opp, Alabama died Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama.

Mrs. Heath is survived by her daughter, Chantelle Heath & husband, Danny Tankersley; son, Steve Heath; brother, Johnny Alfrey; sister, Linda Gregory & husband, Norman; niece, Sandra Steele & husband, James; grandchildren, Jeremy Heath & Ellie, Bruce Heath, Matt Heath, Kyle Tankersley, Haley Sanders & Noah; great-grandchildren, Libby Grace Tankersley, Saylor Rae Sanders, Autumn Heath, Devin Heath and Malicha Heath; great-great grandchildren, Kyser Heath and Cowen Heath. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Heath; and parents, Lura Gangwer Alfrey and Allie Alfrey.

A graveside service for Mrs. Betty Jean Alfrey Heath will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 14, 2022 in Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens.
