Mr. Benny Allen Richards, age 81, of Opp, Alabama passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Richards is survived by his wife, Carolyn Prater Richards; daughter, Carrie Bass; brother, Todd Richards (Sue); granddaughter, Chelsee Bass; and great-grandchild, Legend Bass. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brooke Richards; sister, Sue Rodgers; great-grandson, Walt Bass; and parents, Sybil Juanita Hall Richards and James Rufus Richards.

Funeral services for Mr. Benny Allen Richards will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, June 4, 2023 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Shaun Moore will be officiating.
