Mrs. Barbara Nell Boyd, age 82, of Opp, Alabama passed away Monday, July 20, 2026 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.

Mrs. Boyd is survived by her daughter, Melanie Senn & husband, Johnny; sons, Joseph Boyd, and Morgan Boyd & wife, Ginger; sister, Martha Daniels; grandchildren, Trey Davis & Shelby, Ashton Senn & Elizabeth, Aimee Senn, Hailee Stricklin & Conner, Brittany Jackson & Tanner, Bailee Boyd, Will Boyd and Anna Boyd; great-grandchildren, Mary Kate Davis, Honey Rose Senn and Redding Jackson; and special friend, Joe Michael Pridgen. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph Boyd, Sr.; grandson, Sam Boyd; sister, Tommie Jean Rayborn; and parents, Gladys Hudson Kendrick & Claude Kendrick.

Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Nell Boyd will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, July 24, 2026 from Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in New Ebenezer Cemetery. Bro. Ralph Rimmer will be officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
